We're seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to handle critical financial tasks and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting operations. ?? Role Responsibilities

  • Accounts Receivable: Prepare weekly AR aging reports broken down by customer, project status, and sales rep. Conduct and document daily collections outreach, ensuring timely payments.
  • Cash Receipts: Record daily cash receipts, wires, and ACH payments with precision.
  • Billing Accuracy: Investigate, analyze, and resolve billing inquiries from both internal teams and external customers.
  • Credit Analysis: Review customer credit data and recommend updates to credit limits, adhering to company policies.
  • Project Billing: Develop and manage billing schedules (SOVs) for specific projects.
  • Sales Tax Compliance: Assist in filing monthly sales taxes, reconciling transactions across multiple states, and maintaining tax exemption certifications using Avalara.
  • Reporting: Post journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and assist in audits to ensure financial compliance.
  • Collaboration: Work with AR and AP teams to streamline billing and accounting operations.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Handle other accounting-related duties as needed to support the finance team.
